Eeeee- mmeeeep.... :3 I is in luuuuuv! It's been a while since I've been to Iplehouse's website so I had not seen their EID boy Luo... *Unintelligible sounds* He's soo pretty... Look at his face, and his nose and the lips!!!! :333 He may have to become Mr. Manly, because I WANT HIM SO MUCH MY FINGERS ARE TWITCHING~!!!
Oh my god the horror, today I almost started making a story for DZ's Ami and Ani which is so NOT cool because I have no need for those two little cuties. And if I make up a story for them, I'm ruined. 'Cos then I'll actually have to get them at some point... And I can't do that! I just can't.
I think I have a sort of a thing for making girls out of boy sculpts, because I keep thinking about making a girl from Dollshe's Bernard and Soom's Lazule. They would make such pretty girls! Imagine the long face, gorgeous long nose and those lips on a girl. :3 Me wants, though me does need not...
I finally did get my boy his Christmas present. I bought him Halo 4 Special Edition, and I really hope he won't decide to buy it before we go to Finland, because that'll cause me some problems... 'Cos that's pretty much the only game I know he'll like, as all the other games out now are a bit of a shot in the dark. I could get COD: Black Ops 2, but he's seemed a bit uninterested in that, so I wouldn't really want to get it for him, as he may just get bored with it. Oh well, I'll keep my fingers crossed that he'll be too tired from work that he won't think about getting stuff. Anyhoo, that's all for today as my boy's getting back from work and he can't see me writing about what I got for him! I know this post is short and extremely squeeish, but what can you do! :P

Bye bye beautiful.
We are hopefully getting a flat!!! Amaaaazing! If everything checks out, we will be getting a studio in Uxbridge! Yay! It's gonna be a lot smaller than we are used to, but it will make up for it by us being able to save a lot more money this way. Because hopefully by next year (if we are still together and everything has gone according to plan) we may have enough money for a deposit and we can get a mortgage to buy a house/flat! The reason we are interested in getting one, is because it will end up being cheaper to pay mortgage than paying rent... AND you can do stuff to your own home! Meeeep! I hate renting as you can't fix or change anything, and it seems like a lot of the times you'd need to fix things in order to have the place up to the standards I'm used to...
I am actually feeling better today than in a little while now. Pretty much only due to the fact that we are most likely going to get a place and because our rodent problem is most likely over. I do have to say, I feel a bit drained though as the last few days with our rodent problem was pretty tense, as it was trying to chew its way through the door to get to the living room... And the shit. It was everywhere on the floor. So not funny. But it's done with now. If you want to read what happened yesterday, read ahead...
The following talks about a rodent dying/it being dead, so if you are uncomfortable with that, better not read this. And also be warned that I think the writing may be even worse quality than normal as I don't really feel like reading over what I've written, so it may jump from one thing to another...
Yesterday the little rat died. It had been wrecking havoc in our kitchen for about a week now, and yesterday it went into one of the traps (twice, funny enough) that the pest control people left. Gotta say, that was a horrible way to go. We had been getting really desperate in getting rid of the little thing, and I had suggested before (and last night) that if we had a bucket, we could make a water trap for the rat as it was not going into the 'conventional' traps. Unfortunately we were unable to make the trap as we don't own a bucket. And that actually makes me really sad, as I feel (maybe wrongly) that drowning might have been a slightly more humane way for the little thing to go.
What now happened instead, was that it had set off one of the traps and gotten hurt- don't know how or how badly, but what you could see, was some splattered blood on the kitchen floor. Then later on in the afternoon, (after I was unsuccessful in getting it to run outside into the garden) it got trapped in one of the traps. I found out about this because our housemate asked if I knew that the rat was 'gone' (or something- his English is so horrible at times) and then I went downstairs to have a look before leaving for a viewing in London. Unfortunately the rat was still breathing at that time- little rasping and gurgling breaths with its little chest moving in and out, trying to get air... I don't know how long it had been like that, but I think it must have taken at least 10 to 15 minutes for it to die. At least. That is a horrible way to go because it's quite likely its lungs and airways were filling with blood, as the little thing's breathing was sounding pretty wet... And to imagine how much pain it was in! I have no idea what part of its head had gotten caught, because when the trap had gone off, it had somersaulted so that it was upside down and you could not see the rat's head. Which I am glad for as I would not have been able to even look in its direction. I couldn't end its agony, because... I just couldn't. I actually can't even kill bugs properly, so killing a rat? Not a chance. So after I came back to the kitchen a few minutes later, the little one had stopped breathing. By this time I was already running late, so I left the rat in the kitchen as the pest control man was supposed to call me/come over later in the day (he'd been in in the morning and had jumped in the air like a little wuss after seeing the rat).
When I got home in the evening, obviously the man had not been over as the rat was still on our kitchen floor... Which meant that it had to be taken out. I could've left the job for my boy, but I decided that I can do it for him. I have to say, I really did not enjoy it and I never want to have to do that again. As I had no idea how 'diseasy' the rat was, I had to use a stick (ex-housemate's halloween cane?) to get it out of the house. The first time I touched the rat WITH the stick, I felt a bit sick and got shivers going through me. I just felt so bad. I couldn't lift the rat up as that would've most likely spun it around and I would've seen its little face all smushed, squished, and bloodied, and I couldn't have handled that. (I could barely look at my friend's hamster that had an accident and its eye was bulging out of the socket.) So I ended up pushing and prodding the little one across the kitchen floor and out of the door. And I kept talking to it, saying I was really sorry for having to drag it on the floor... I felt so bad about having to do that, as it was not a dignified way of taking it outside, but it was the best I could do with what I had. The horrible thing was, the little thing was by this time stiff as a board, as it had gone into full rigor and its little tail was a tiny backwards J...
But I have to say, it was a beautiful little rat. Such a nice sandy brown coat with a gorgeous white belly. I really hope things could've been different and it wouldn't have needed to go to little ratty heaven. Only if it would've been born as a fancy rat, I would've loved it, cherished it, and provided it a nice big home. But alas, it was a rodent, and it invaded our home- most likely by accident, but still. Adios little pretty! I hope you're reborn as a pretty fancy rat as you were beautiful!

I have a cough.
(I seriously apologise for writing blaaaah posts recently, but annoying things have been happening way too much lately and I feel the need to vent. There is couple pics of Xian though somewhere in this post!)
As title says, I have a cough, which makes trying to stay invisible very hard. I've been up since 6.30am in our living room, in order to see if the rodent will run out of the house if I leave the backdoor open. It hasn't happened yet, though I have only waited for 1½ hours. But I think I may be making too much noise with my cough (or it's sleeping after it's adventures last night), but I can't just leave the door open and go, because then I wouldn't have a clue whether or not it has gone out. But I do have to say, the rodent is getting extremely desperate. It's getting bolder and bolder, because I think it's starting to get really hungry. Last night it had tried to drag the cloth we keep outside the kitchen door, on the living room side, into the kitchen. And it had somehow managed to make stuff from on top of the fridge fall onto the floor- and this isn't one of those tiny little fridges, it is a proper fridge-freezer so it stands taller than me! Though that doesn't take too much. But it is almost the same height as my boyfriend.
I've mentioned that there is mold in our house right? It seems to be a horribly normal thing to have mold in the houses in England for some reason. This is the second place where I have rented and where mold just appears any time there is even a tiny bit of moisture in the air. I'm starting to get quite worried about my health as mold is massively bad for you- it can cause so many problems, and as I'm already someone who has allergies, I don't want any more problems like asthma for example... I'm really hoping that I am just a bit sick or imagining things, because recently I have started feeling dizzy when I sit down upstairs to do stuff on my desk. One of the worst places (in terms of mold) is our bedroom, as there is constantly some on the ceiling (there used to be a leak in our bedroom, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was massive amounts of mold between our ceiling and the roof). And you know that if you can SEE the mold, you've already got a biiiiig problem with it.
For some reason, I'm unable to do some changes to my blog layout- I spent some time yesterday choosing what I wanna do with it, but then I was unable to edit things in the layout section. Quite annoyed about that. So the blog will look like this until the damn thing starts working.
Picture time! I failed to upload the pics to my blog in a timely fashion, but better late than never! I had a go at taking pictures of Xian on my desk during the evening to see if I could use my desk lamp as a light source. It turned out a bit... so-so. I've only got three pictures because I wasn't very happy with most of the pictures. And as you'll notice, these ones have been edited quite a bit as I wasn't a big fan of them.
Xian has two wigs at the moment- her present day hair (red) and the hair from olden days (white). I really want to make the white one more presentable as it is a pain atm, because the weave is LIGHT BROWN instead of white, so you can see it way too much. Isn't she pretty in white though?
Damn. I dunno what I'll be having for breakfast. Cold pizza? I can't heat the pizza as we don't have a microwave and the oven is rodent-central. Pfffff... We've resorted to eating takeaways only for dinner (and lunch, and now possibly for bfast) since we realised where the rodent likes to hide. Please pest control people, come frigging save us!!! I want a home cooked meal!!! Done in a different oven though. Ugh. That shizz needs to go away. I'm off to feed myself now.

Depressing post ahead.
So unfortunately this post is gonna be all rubbish and depressing. But I'll try to get nice things out in the beginning and then move on to the rubbish...
Yesterday we had a staff Christmas party! It was soooo nice! There was a free bar, and lovely free food involved! And a guest speaker, which was slightly odd, but it was great anyway! The thing was, we were supposed to have an after-party in Soho, but the bar we had booked it for, was PACKED. You could barely move in any direction, which was ridiculous. So we decided to go somewhere else. And after some confusion and shenanigans, we decided to make our way to Heaven. And only one of us knew where it was. Hmmmm. And we got separated, which meant that the ones that got left behind, we went into the pub that was right next to us, obviously to drown our sorrows. Worked out great!
I'm pretty happy with my flapper headdress- sooo many people actually liked it! I really wasn't sure how it was, because I can't be objective with things I've made for some reason. But everyone thought it looked okay and I got so many compliments on what I was wearing! Flapperiness achieved! I might take a photo of the headdress at some point to show how it looks. :3
I took pictures of Xian today! I'll post some pics probably tomorrow as I don't quite feel like doing stuff to the pictures today. But hopefully tomorrow!
Rubbish things ahead now~
Too many things have been going wrong lately. Our toilet seat is a tad bit broken, we almost got flooded, there is mold all over the house at all times, and our latest thing to go wrong- we believe there is a rodent in our kitchen. Possibly because of the flooding. Or second possibility is that we only discovered it now, because our housemate moved out and he isn't leaving food scraps on the floor anymore and the rodent got desperate. Dunno. But it is there. Because yesterday I made something in the grill bit of our oven, and I forgot to throw away the baking paper I used on the baking tray- today I noticed that the baking paper has gone INSIDE the insidy bits of the oven, and I gotta say, that can't happen by accident, it requires work for it to get there. And when I took the paper out, it was full of holes and bite marks. Which means the the rodent is in our OVEN. :O DO NOT WANT. I don't know what to do now. There was the pest control people here earlier in the week and they set up two rodent traps, so today I just opened the grill door and put one of the traps on the door in the hopes that the rodent will come out and take the bait. I'm so tired of bad things happening- like when we called about a flat that we wanted to take, I gave all our info, and the agent said that he needed to call the landlord to confirm if we can take the place. When he called back, he said that the landlady didn't think we made enough money to pay the rent! WTF??? Either of us can pay the rent on our own! So we haven't got a place yet. And we should already be signing contracts right about now. Ugh. Sometimes I hate life.
Here's a flower to make up for me being all blaaah and whiny:
I took it during summer, and gotta say that might be one of the most heavily edited images I've done. Maybe. :F

Finding a home is a nightmare. Plus necklaces.
Ugh. Seriously a nightmare. It really feels like that the agencies have NO desire to have their properties let. =___= Da fuq? I've called so many places and they have promised to get back to me on when we could have a viewing, and then I never receive a callback! WTF? It does not make sense. And I seriously doubt that the places have gone, and if they have, it is a case of GOOD MANNERS to let the interested party to know that the property they wanted to have a look, is gone. Oh well. We'll see what we'll get. I really hope that the place I'm going to have a look on Friday is da Bomb! Cos it is in a good location and it's only £700 PCM, and it's a one bedroom with proper kitchen- no studio blah-blah about it! :3 And there is a fireplace! That I hope is actually functional!
I finally got pictures of the necklaces I made!
Weeeee! :3 Btw, that background- thaaaank you Xhanthi! She has an awesome tip for 'Quick and Easy Vibrant Backgrounds' at her blog. (That link is to the tutorial.)
Anyway, these two are available at my Etsy! Here for the green byzantine, and here for the pearl steel. The pearl one I like quite a bit as you can wear it in different styles as you can close it on any ring you want. I'm most likely going to do just a plain one with the 'Mobius balls' (I've only used three rings, so they're not very... bally) as it does look very nice on its own. But I need more rings. Again. (I used a lot of rings for my flapper headdress. Which will hopefully look okay.)
Need to do something about the layout.
